Discord mutes everything bluetooth It was really weird, but that probably has to do with having mic and audio on the same Bluetooth device. I am routing discord sounds through the chat channel on the headset, with everything else running through the game channel. Apr 25, 2020 · When using Discord/Teams the Game sound channel on the headset is being muted. I am able to use them if I keep the option checked, but as you said, the quality sounded horrible. I had to make everything use the Hands-Free Audio version (overall audio quality will be worse than Stereo, but it's the only way to get Discord to not mute everything else for now). This issue isn't present if i route discord through the game channel or if all other sound is routed to another device. The only thing that seems to work is Then go to Discord settings (click the cog wheel, bottom left), and then click "Voice and Video", and change the input/output audio sources to match. Hello, I have this issue too so I followed what you said, but when I go turn off the hands-free telephony like the link suggested I could not select my Bluetooth headphones mic from discord settings, it just defaults to my laptop ones.
