  1. 96 f250 brake problems. Oct 22, 2012 · 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - 96 f250 brake issue - I picked up a 96 f250 with 156k miles on it. I have changed out the Vacuum pump in hopes that this would correct the issue, but to no avail. I think I still have some of the pictures form the swapping of vacuum and brake booster.
