PS: Btw you can also open YouTube links in VLC to play videos smoothly by copy and pasting in YouTube links using “Media” on taskbar and select -> ”open network stream” or “open location from clipboard”. I have set the VLC to start in full screen mode and this way it works but then the problem I'm having is that when I try to add subtitles I have to go out full screen and when I try to go back to full screen the image freezes again. The video will continue playing to it's end at which point I have a black screen and still no working input and I have to cycle the power off/on.
